Lucy is determined to get home for Christmas. So determined, that when her flight is cancelled, she books a ride with a stranger using an app. So determined, that when it turns out her ride isn’t with a stranger, it’s with Eric, a guy she ghosted after a one-night-stand, she doesn’t run away but insists they both fulfill their bargain. It will be a painfully awkward journey, but at least she’ll get home.
Or will she? When Eric’s car breaks down, they are forced to take refuge in the towel of Tinsel, a Christmas-themed tourist trap where they end up in the honeymoon suite of the town’s most unrelentingly sex-focused hotel. It’s impossible for them to deny their continuing mutual attraction, and after some silly adventures with a water bed, a collection of randy senior citizens, and a magical visit to Santa, they have to find a way to work through their issues.
How to Lose a Guy Before Christmas is a funny, charming novella with memorable characters and a sprinkling of spice.
